DAY 01

 Arrival at Gongkar airport from KATHMANDU, transfer to Lhasa.

DAY 02-03

 Visit of Potala, Drepung, Sera, Jokhang & Barkhor Market.

DAY 04

 One day excursion to Gandan monastery,

DAY 05

 Drive from Lhasa to Tsurphu, to hire yaks from Tsurphu following the dirt
 west from  Tsurphu, take the left branch and camp at Leten. To walk 3 hrs
 on the first day.

DAY 06

 From Leten to Valley Janction, on this day to involves crossing the 5300m
 Lhasar  La, one of several passes straddling the Tsurphu range, to walk 4
 and half hrs.

DAY 07

 Valley junction to Dorjee Ling Nunnery, from the valley junction to take the
 left and  crossing its river to the north banki and following its course to the
 west. Cross the low saddle and the drop down the other side to an east-west
 valley, follow this due  west, reaching the large Lhorong Chu Valley and
 then to Dorjee Ling Nunnery, to walk 5 hrs on this day and then camp at
 Dorjee Ling.

DAY 08

 Dorjee Ling to Yangpachen Monastery, to walk 4 hrs.

DAY 09

 Drive from Yangpachen to Gyantse via lake Yamdrok(3950m) 450 km,
 O/N in hotel

Day 10

 Drive from Gyantse to Gongar Airport and fly back to Kathmandu

DAY 10

 Sightseeing & drive Gyantse to Shigatse (3900m) 90km, O/N in hotel.

DAY 11

 Sightseeing & drive Shigatse to Shegar (New Tingri 4050m), 244km,
 O/N in hotel.

DAY 12

 Drive Shegar to Rongbuk (5000m) 110km, guest house.

DAY 13

 Trek to Everest Base Camp and return to Rongbuk (5460m).

DAY 14

 Drive from Rongubk to Tingri

DAY 15

 Tingri to Nyalam or Zhangmu

DAY 16

 Drive Nyalam - Kathmandu [1400m] 153km.
