With the
attraction of the highest mountain in the world, the
trek to the Everest Base Camp has become the most
popular in Tibet; although in recent years increasing
numbers of people are driving there instead of walking.
Featuring spectacular views of the Himalayas from stark
desert valleys, this is an unforgettable adventure for
those who are not afraid to use their own feet.
The trekking season in the Everest Region extends from
April through October. This is a difficult high
elevation walk beginning at 4400m and attaining
altitudes of nearly 5200m, so careful preparation and
the right gear are imperative.

Only the visa and permit obtained from Chinese Embassy
